Monroe is an artist and maker from Bristol, VT. She is an aspiring creative with a broad skill set, she creates with the resources at hand— wood, fabric, pens, paint, cameras etc. This website is Monroe’s attempt at an online portfolio to display work. There are many layers to the site, so take a look around!
Monroe is a self diagnosed tetra-chromat. (Link to podcast below) and finds her work most often starts with shape, which then forms shadows and expands it into abstract interior spaces, portraits or landscapes. She takes her inspiration from every environment she inhabits, may that be outdoors on the rivers of Northern Quebec, the landscapes of the Southwestern United States or the interior of an Amtrak roomette.
